Villain as Victim

With the official endorsement of the line that the Chinese incursion into Ladakh and its stubborn refusal to vacate the occupied area is an “unprovoked act of aggression” against India, the Indian political establishment must be feeling the pinch, and the hurt that unprovoked acts of aggression and occupation can cause to the victim.

Come to think of it, it is only a matter of time before chickens come home to roost! And come they do, but with a vengeance. All along the past thirty years, Kashmiris have been banging their heads against the wall, so that those away from ground zero may heed their tales of woe and torture and to use their heft in stopping our tormentor in their tracks. But that has never happened, not even now when India herself has been shouting from the rooftops that they have been wronged, roughed up and ridiculed by the Rowdy Rathore – the ‘repressive’ Dragon!
